Quick update
I start work in just a few minutes, so here is a quick update. We still dont have the internet at our house (or a computer monitor for that matter) so we are not able to post much. We pick up our foreign registration cards today, we are going to Tokushima this weekend for a big dance festival, and we are adjusting to the heat well. Talk to you later!

How do you "adjust to the heat well"? I stayed at Grandma Millie's for three days. They keep the thermostat about 84 degrees, and I did not adjust well. The only mitigating factor was the ceiling fans which at least kept the air moving, which combined with the persperation fooled me into thinking Marion Michigan with Uncle Bud to participate in a ceremonay at the Storey Cemetary there. Huge pioneer day celebration and the cemetary was featured. Bud oversaw a ceremony which included placing a headstone on Grandpa Storey's grave. Don't think there are any journals left from this man. I wish there was.
Hey.. I solved the shoe mess under the stairs!. I found a black wooden coffe table at target which had two wicker baskets on a shelf near the floor, a narrow shelf just under the top which is just right for Dad's dress shoes to "toe in", and bought two more wicker baskets to put on top, which are jsut big enough to hold all of Josh's boots other shoes. Looks verrahnice, if I say so my self. I also bougth a rolling conter top unit(black with a granite top) which goes well in the dining room, and right now is a good place to put the little t.v. and the new coil binding unit we purchased for spiff up our presentations. Am getting bids to see what it costs to build out the patio.
