With chopsticks or a fork, Okonamiyaki is one of my favorite japanese meals. The fish flakes actually dance a little when they are sprinkled on top ( I think it's the heat that does it).
For 365 days, The Franklins (Melissa-24, Joey-25, Callan-2 years) lived in the coastal town of Marugame on the island of Shikoku in the Japanese Archapelago. Splitting our time purvaying English conversation skills and taking snap shots of the Japanese countryside, we have attempted to expand our world view through exposure of the cultural and culinary variety.

Wow, thanks for the recipe and detailed instructions! Okonomiaki (?) sounds really yummy, I'll have to head over to our favorite Asian marketplace (we have a good one a few blocks away) and get the fixings so we can make it!! We'll let you know how we like it!
Love Sarah
